Forehead Lift

Wrinkles and lines appear in the forehead region, as well as other places of the body, as people become older. The lines on the person's forehead make them seem frowning and angrier than normal. The forehead lift procedure may erase these lines that appear between the top brows and the hairline. The forehead lift procedure may be combined with other procedures that occur around the forehead region, such as eyelid, temple, face, or eyebrow lifts. The patient's requirements and expectations are taken into account while planning the operation.

There are two types of forehead lifts available nowadays. One of these strategies, however, has been mostly abandoned and is not desired. In this approach, incisions are performed from the inside of the hair and the border of the temples to extend the forehead upwards. The extra skin is then sutured and removed. Endoscopic stretching surgery is now the favored procedure. Stretching is done using the endoscopic approach via 1.5 - 2 cm incisions on the inner section of the hair. As a result, there is no obvious evidence of the surgery from the outside.

In most cases, the recovery period for a forehead lift surgery is roughly two weeks. General anesthesia is used for the procedure. After one week, the sutures used in the procedure are removed. Patients may resume their normal job routine after around ten days. However, these times may vary depending on the person's overall health and adaption to the post-operative considerations.
